worms ?

Found this treat in the coop this morning. Not sure about the shrimp like thing it is attached to but the others look like worms to me. Should I use Piperazine in their water for this ?

I would, those look like roundworms to me, and in 10 days I would treat with another wormer. You might do a search about deworming.

Do you mean a different type of wormer in 10 days ? Go figure that my girl that has not been laying for a few weeks left me one today - it killed me to throw it away !!

I have absolutely no idea - I certainly didn't feed them shrimp !!

It looks like a bunch of worms in a casting of some sort and dirt in one spot for an 'eye'.
Did you toss it already? Would be real interesting for a pic from a different side or dissection of it...

It was a week yesterday since I wormed with Piperazine. The hen that I think had the worms has had a very dirty butt since then but now I feel that her legs are a bluish color that I didn't notice before. She is walking, scratching, eating, drinking with the others. Any ideas anyone? I doubt that I could get a picture as she is the most skittish of the three.
