I'm a NEWBIE....and this is my first winter with chickens...mine are now about 7 weeks old. We live in NE OHIO, in the snowball and it can get really wintery here. I have an automatic door on the coop....should I hang a curtain or something in front of that to prevent the snow and drafts from coming in?

Here's my article on coop ventilation: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/repecka-illustrates-coop-ventilation.77659/

As a general rule, it takes two openings to create airflow, so a popdoor doesn't *usually* create a severe draft.

BUT some people in severe winter climates who experience a lot of wind build a draft baffle around their pop doors -- usually consisting of a box that opens on the side so that the wind can't blow directly into the coop.

More pics of your run and outside of coop might help here.
Looks like netting on the run roof.....snow could definitely be an issue there.

Here's how to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!
