Hi folks,
I'm incubating some eggs for the first time that were abandoned (the ducks in my park look like farm breeds that have been dumped). I decided to take the eggs home with me and incubate to give them a second chance at life; they've all been doing well but I'm concerned about my oldest developing egg named Tobi. I really need a second opinion.
Tobi has been developing spectacularly, wiggling around and growing into a healthy baby. I've used a makeshift incubator with a heating pad and a misting bottle, but after getting a new one, Tobi suddenly looks like he or she has possibly developed a blood ring. Tobi had been moving for a few days, but I suddenly don't see any dancing in the egg and I don't want to candle excessively. All the other eggs are doing well, but they're 6-8 days into development while Tobi is 11-13 days.
I did my best to capture good quality photos, but has Tobi died? If needed, I can send a couple photos of how my other eggs are looking.
Thanks for your help
