Worried about eggs.

Candle them and see if there's anything moving in the air cell. A dead chick looks lumpy and there will be yellowish, clearish liquid gaps between it and the air cell.

I just candled and from what I can tell there is no air cell. Maybe my light wasn’t bright enough?

Did it with a brighter light. The air cell is big but the chick is not in it. It’s completely clear from that part and the chick is formed around the edge I can’t see any movement.

A dead baby will sink towards the smaller end and there'd be a little bit of a watery gap. If it's full and black I'd still hold out some hope. Has the air cell developed a big, diagonal tilt to it?

Yep they both are tilted. One of them has a yellow gap inside the rest of the egg.

The yellow gap doesn't sound good but with the other egg can you see a slight movement of the membrane somewhere at the higher end of the air cell where it's closest to the fat end of the egg? If you can that's the chick trying to pip internally and pushing against it.

After further examination I am going to say that they did not make it. The eggs still float how they should but absolutely no movement. They have clear yellow spots going through the entirety of the egg. There is no movement inside whatsoever. Unfortunately these guys didn’t make it. However life is both cruel and beautiful and I will try again, so that those who live can live for those who died.

Exactly - it's better that they terminated before hatching than they hatched out with problems. That's the way I look at it. Good luck for next time! Hatching is addictive!
