Worried about my 20 week old hen

Thank you all so much for your help and support! Throughout the day, June Bug got some more color in her face and perked up. After we gave her the bath in epsom salt, she sat on my son's lap (on a garbage bag and two towels - LOL) while he watched TV for almost two hours!! Then she started clucking again and acting like herself so we brought her back outside with the rest. This evening she's acted perfectly normal, although still somewhat runny stools. Right now all four of them are in the dust bath hole they dug, just watching the activity in the yard. So happy she's feeling better!

I cleaned and scrubbed the coop, changed the bedding, cleaned out the food and water dishes, and added another window to the coop (in case she got over-heated). Keeping my fingers crossed she'll be ok. I am going to start feeding yogurt again, and am looking into vitamins that maybe I should be giving.

Thanks again so much!! This is my son's chicken and he would be so upset if something happened. She's so friendly, and jumps up onto him all the time, looking for treats. I know we shouldn't get so attached to the chickens, and we didn't intend to, but we did. :p

You sound like such a mother (and I mean that in a good way :) ).

June bug is such a cute name! Hope she's feeling better.

Thanks nab58. Yes, I have four kids, not counting the four chickens. ;)

This weekend everyone was back to normal again. My son named the chicken Junior when I think he was hoping she was a rooster. When we knew she was a hen, he changed it to June Bug. It is a cute name! :)

Thanks again!!
