We ordered three Welsh Harlequin ducklings that were shipped out on Monday, and we don't have them yet:(. According to the gentlemen from Metzers, they should be fine since I did order the Gro-Gel for them, and they will have plenty to eat. I just hope that they keep warm enough. I am assuming that they are stuck in Phoenix right now, so I am not to worried about them freezing to death there. I just hope that their heat pack stays warm enough for them to make it here where it is in the high 40's.

My son is going to be so disappointed when he comes home from school today and sees that his ducks aren't here yet. We have been waiting since the day we ordered them for their arrival. Oh well, this is a good lesson for him:D. He plans on using the ducks for his showman ship project in 4-H. He can hardly wait for them to get big enough so he can start practicing with them.

Hopefully, I will be getting a call from the post office tomorrow letting me know that our duckling have arrived. Here's praying that they arrive safe and healthy:fl.

Thanks for listening.

That's pretty long considering you're only one state away. They should have been there by now. But, you may get a call in the middle of the night to come pick them up, though.

I agree with you. I wouldn't think it would take this long. Unfortunately, the mail truck only comes up from Phoenix once a day. I would love to get a call in the middle of the night if that meant I would have the ducklings, but it won't happen

I know Pinetop is a long way from Phoenix, but is there some kind of distribution center that they would be held at? Can you check around and see if they're sitting there at that center? Does the mail truck come up tomorrow?

We're gonna get some heavy weather, soon in California and it's heading your way, too. I would hate for it to be delayed even longer.

I have been having problem with the postal's priority mail. I can no longer ship on Wednesday, due to their unreliable shipping times. They need 2-4 days for priority mail. Had some that I shipped from Oregon with strange times. To Florida 2 days. To Arkansas 4 days, twice in one month to 2 different customers! All that with priority mail. Part of the problem is that all priority mail shipments are being moved by FedEx from post office to post office. FedEx is not the best carrier at all. Your duckling will be fine.

Aww! Well they should be there soon. We got our ducks a day before we were expecting! We left the warming pack in with them for the first 4 days, and it stayed warm the whole time. The Gro-Gel lasted them 3 days. I think they will survive the ride over there, just be sure to answer the phone when they call (We didn't answer, and they weren't open yet, so we had to go bang on the door till they gave me my babies!

Oh, even if they do come tomorrow, what's another day? I waited 57 days to get mine!

I think if they have a heat pack and gro-gel, they'll probably be OK, but if it were me, I would be calling around to find out where they are.
