Got these two babies 5 weeks ago. The crested I’m sure is female but the Rouen I’m starting to worry may be a male. I already have a drake in my flock so I’m worried she could be a he which would mean I’d have to find him a new home ( something I really don’t want to do)
Any advice on the sex of my baby?

Almost 7 weeks
She does quack but is so comfortable with being held she doesn’t make a sound when I pick her up. she really only quacks when treats are coming but it is more of a half quack half excited chatter.
the green tint she had on her head is making me wonder if she could be a drake.

We have a Peking and a roen. Our roen is very mild tempered and doesn't quack a lot goes with the flow. Our peking I am worried is a drake. She does quack when you pick her up but she is mean! Not sure how to tell male or female

Why is she so mean to my chickens then? The chickens are 3 years old and the ducks are just 9 weeks.

Are they housed in close quarters, boredom can cause unnecessary fighting between the two species, I've seen some of my females pick on full-grown chickens, usually in the spring, or when the hen is broody, it's not something that happens every day though.

They have their own cops but share a 20x20 yard. I just can't believe a young duck is harassing adult chickens. It's not all day but the chickens are learning if that duck comes near them to go find a new spot. It's a total bully situation.
