Yesterday morning I awoke to find a pip on day 20, as the day went on I got 4 more pips. Today is day 21. still have the pips but no zips. 9so the first is at about 24 hours since pipping) My humidity is around 70. BUT my temp is 98.8 and I can't get it any higher. It had been between 99 and 100 consistantly until I raised the humidity. Is this normal?

I think with some incubators, yes this is just what happens when you raise the humidity. Not all of them, just some. I wouldn't worry about it though, as lowering the temp by half a degree or so is something that a lot of people like to do when they raise the humidity for lockdown. It shouldn't have any negative effect on your hatch at all. Good luck with them!

I agree, that small drop shouldn't be a problem, sometimes they just really take there time. I think some just get tired and have to break after they pip before zipping, some of ours took 36 hours after first pip to finally zip and hatch, just be patient, I know thats alot easier said than done from my own experience, but they will come in there own time. Good luck!
