Worst day EVER!!

I am so sorry for what you're dealing with. Before reading this entire post I was going to give you a handfull of ways to "take care" of that dog without access to a firearm, but now I have to agree with Chooksaurus. Anyhow, I am so sorry you lost your babies

Sorry about your pets,,,,,,,,,,,,,I understand that if an animal HAS rabies, it can't GET enough water??? I'd rule out rabies for the kitten. I'd say stress and bieng chomped up by the dog,,,,,,,,which by the way could be taught a serious lesson with a baseball bat when he finds you in the coop instead of the chooks,,,,,,,,,,your uncle needs to put his priorities in order as well, and start thinking with the punkin on his shoulders.

i had a guy down the road his dog would walk about a mile to eat at my farm, not dogfood but my chickens,, i told him about it on several occasions and he said no way his dog would do that,, no way, while laughing he said if it really did that to shoot it and put it on his porch , well a couple days later he had a new rug for his front door, don't get me wrong I have a couple dogs myself and love em, haven't had anymore problems with my birds,,

Yeah I know I shouldnt take it out on the dog.. Its just aggervating because we went through this with the sister of who owns this dog, it kept wanting to kill our cats, and like always they wouldnt do anything about it. Well coyotes got that dog and I cant say I ever felt sorry for her, she didnt when it injured my cat then died.

Ok Now I Am Seriously P/O.. I decided to talk to our neighbors about the dog. part of them claimed they were gonna leash her for awhile, well she was down here again, I talked to them again and what was the reply? "well you shouldnt have your ducks loose in the yard uncontrolled in the first place" FIRST OF ALL. They are controlled. I have not had once where they left the yard, They are always watched besides when I walk in to get a drink or get their food. Its our yard, We are 2 acres away from them, and the yard I let them out is behind our house AWAY from toward them, and yet their dog still came all the way over here and attacked em? and I shouldnt let mine out? Good grief I hope the coyotes come back!

LOL I got 4 dogs, Cur mix (hunting dog) Catahoula (hunting dog) dalmation/german shepherd mix and a Big Black Labrador/Australian shepherd/Border collie mix, They bark at the other dog when she comes up near my pens but they were off roaming around when she got my ducks. its pretty funny to watch my dogs with the animals lol they all know that the chickens and ducks are MINE, sometimes the chickens will walk up and eat with the cats or dogs. my black lab mix will walk out there and lay down in the grass and the baby ducks will climb all over him! LOL
