i saw chemical incubators that have elecronic temp and humidity control for cheap.i was wondering that if i bought one would it work for hatching eggs?

It mostly depends on the temp range of the current thermostat. If it will sit at 99-101 like a rock it's good. Air exchange is easily and cheaply modified.

If you have to add a new electronic thermostat to keep the temps in that range - figure in the cost of a thermostat against what you are paying.
