Would a Cherry Egger x Barred Rock make a Sex-Link?

My friends got some Cherry Eggers from Cackle this spring. They love them! Pretty, healthy, and early maturity. I'm wondering if I could cross a Cherry Egger rooster with a Barred Rock hen and get a Sex-Link??? Thanks!

Depends on what makes up the Cherry Egger. If a New Hampshire/RIR cross, a Cherry Egger rooster over BR hen would be a black sexlink. *I think a Cherry Egger is a Production Red by a different trade name*

Thanks! So I'll ask Cackle what breeds go into their Cherry Eggers... Is it possible for a red columbian colored bird to mask dominant white?
