would a roo attack chicks?

I have 2 silkies who are not mature yet and im getting 5 chicks soon. I think one of the silkies might be a roo but im not certain. Im planning on carefully introducing the chicks to the pullet because people have told me that she shouldn't attack them if shes a silkie. when i do this should i separate the silkie who i think might be a male from the silkie hen and her chicks? do you think it will be ok to give a silkie pullet chicks if i closely monitor them?

I think they will be fine. I have never had a Silkie, male or female, be aggressive toward any other chicken regardless of age.
