Would like to trade buff orpingtons

Hello!! My husband and I are very new to the raising chickens world. It is so much fun and rewarding, we love it. However we purchased 5 buff orps as babies and now that they are 7 weeks old we realized we have 3 roosters and 2 hens. Uh-oh. So we are hoping someone in our local area is interested in trading? We live in the Lehighton PA area and would like to trade roosters for buff orp hens. Pls let me know If your interested as soon as possible. The roosters are fighting eachother now and I hate to see that. I'm new to ths site but I will try to post pics. Hopefully I can figure that out soon. Thank you so much.

when you have 20 posts you can participate in the Buy-sell-trade forums but, have to say there is always a glut of roosters. It's fairly unlikely someone would trade pullets for them.

So then what do I do if I have 3 roosters? Find another home?

Hi! I have the same problem.....ended up with a rooster. I love him so much but he has to be rehomed. Did you find a home for your boys? What did you end up doing?

you can also call your local feed store and see if they can take the roosters for you. Good luck.
