I have 22 cornish x they are just over a month old, they don't seem to be feathering out well at all . I am having to still leave a heat lamp on as they are so bare....Just curious if this is normal.. I bought them from Ideal...

Please post pics of Cornish x doesnt have to be recent batch.. And also what Hatchery did you get them from..

Perfectly normal, they should be close to fully feathered by 5 weeks.

I do not have any recent pics but I will have the camera out today so I can post some pics of 1 week, 3 weeks, and 5 weeks.

Awesoem thanks Jeff .. I looked around on the net and saw that they all look kinda bare at that age... I cant get over how loveable the lil frankenchickens are though.. They just look so cute running up to you and Im amazed at how calm they are as well..

mine seemed to take FOREVER to fully feather and were the ugliest looking things at about 4 weeks.....

as previously mentioned by 5 weeks (as mine are just past) they are nearly 100% fully feathered and looking MUCH more like yummy nuggets than they do at 4 weeks.
