Would someone tell me what breed of Chicken this is

Hi,


On April 13, I bought at a livestock auction, this hen (picture attached) and her 10 day old chicks, (who are growing and doing great) I was told at the auction that she was mated with her same breed of rooster, therefore all of the chicks are pure.


What I cannot recall is which breed he said they were. (give me a break I am an old guy with no memory LOL)


May I please ask someone with more experience than myself what breed of chicken I own.


Please do understand that I tried to find her kind on my own but was having difficulty deciding on which one of the pictures was her.

I ask because different countries have different breeds.

I personally don't know but do want to know she is very pretty.

She is a mixed breed.

I tend to agree... This looks like a mix.

I thought so also - the only thing that throws me off is the uniformity of her chicks.

The only thing that her and the chicks remotely look like are Sussex.
