I think it would work well in a hillside or in a very well shaded area.

I like it. Some windows as you suggested and mayhap some reflective insulation mounted on the inside would make it nice and comfy summer or winter. They use the refective insul. in metal pole barns and buildings used for animal confinement sooo not much different just a tad smaller. Keeps the heat out in the summmer and the cold out/warmth in during the winter. I put some in my chook shed and so far I and my chooks are very happy with the performance.
