Would this work- run idea

I would like to get my girls outside their fully enclosed run sometimes and into grass. I have an electric netting fence, but I need overhead protection. I was thinking of buying one of those cheap frame runs and instead of using the netting it comes with, using my electric fence on sides. If I put pipe insulation on the frame, would that work? I would cover the top with hawk netting

You could make a chicken tractor.
There are many different ways to build one so maybe try that.
