Would you eat/butcher a young turkey?

I have a turkey that has a broken leg, not sure it will make it to butcher size. It’s 7 weeks or so. Is it even worth it trying to butcher it or should I cull it? Couldn’t find anything about how the meat of young birds is. Thank you!!

How big is it? If it weighs enough and you're willing I think it would be okay to butcher it so its life is not wasted.

It’s not huge, maybe as big as a chicken. But I will then, thank you!!

Thank you! I feel bad but I rather butcher it than just cull it and for it to go to waste. It’s been a bad weekend. Got a quail with a prolapsed vent, one got picked on by the others, a guinea run away from my garage and now this turkey. Hopefully no more injured/lost birds for a long time!!
