I plan to set some eggs tonight. This shipped egg came cracked. Would it be possible or even advisable to cover it with wax and give it a chance? Some of the white has leaked out. Would you do it?

No I would not. If it has seep out, that means bacteria can get in. The egg could rot in the bator and explode. You don't want that happening.

I am sorry that the post office was rough on your package. If it were me, I would not place that egg in my incubator. I believe it will just cause more problems with the hatch.

I recently received a package that the po must have thrown around. So many cracked eggs and I candled and toss more. During the incubation process, I must have missed the cracks and there were alot of oozing eggs. I would not willingly risk the hatch and place an egg w/ a crack. I was hitting myself that I missed so many.
