Wounded hen plz help

My hen peach was recently attacked by either a dog or a fox and has lost feathers from her wings edge and some flesh has been near her butt/ leg. I have started treating it with Vetericyn 3 times a day. She’s a Rhode Island Red and she’s about 18 weeks old. If you have any tips or anything you think I should do then please share I don’t want her to get and infection or anything worse

Sorry your pullet got attacked.
Can you share some pictures of her injuries?
Are you keeping her inside away from flies? Flystrike would be a concern.
As long as you keep it clean and her well nourished, she should recover if she is eating and drinking on her own.

Hi Gracie! Welcome to BYC! I'm sorry to hear about your poor chicken, it sounds like you've done good work so far. I'm not an educator here but those who are will ask to see pictures of the wound for a start. Can you take some and post here?
