Ok - for my BYC family members that know me - know I am a Lavender Nutt

Well I currently have in the Lav color - Muscovy, oegb, cochins --
are you ready for this ??

I am getting Lav turkeys

Some of you know that I currently lost most of my flock due to a dog attack - well a friend replaced the calico turkeys and then another friend help me find some Narris - these were the two breeds that we were planning on raising ------

BUT -- I have a chance to get some Lav turkeys - OH MY!! I am so excited.

I have a weakness - I know -----
but isn't it wonderful

Good to hear Amanda! My heart really hurt for you when the dog attack happened! How is the tom? The ones we got from you are both boys I think but filling out well!

YAY! I can read the excitement in your post. I'm also getting some turkey eggs for the first time this week. Dh is more excited than I am. lol

Denozo has started strutting around and gobbling -- also healing nicely - I do believe he is going to make it. -- He is one TOUGH bird.
