WOW I have broodies hatching babies too!

This must be my lucky week.

I have a partridge hen that was sitting on 4 of her own eggs and 2 of them are out so far, and I have a cuckoo hen that was also sitting on 4 eggs with one out and one pipped!

Then I have 2 cuckoo, a buff, and a white that I hatched yesterday and the day before. And another buff pipped in the incubator! I'm so excited since its been a while since I had babies.

How exciting I have a broody Dorking that is due to hatch any day now, she's sitting on 11 eggs of different moms. They're mutts, hee hee. Can't wait to see what they look like.

are you going to put the incubator chicks under the broody hen instead of in a brooder box?

Sneak them under at night?

I kept the incubated chicks inside in the brooder. I need some babies to love too!
