Wow. It's cold, but the sun is shining!

Yes, CA is getting the storms. I live in the high desert and we average 3 inches of rain a year and last year we only got an inch. My rain gauge is reading 2 1/2 inches after all the rain this past week and yesterday we got snow. I live in the Indian Wells Valley and we're surrounded by mountains full of snow. We did well here with not the damage LA got but downtown had a few sandbags out because in some places the water ran like river.
