I have a chick that is about 3 months old. I thought originally the chick had wry neck I gave vitamins selenium and vitamin E gel and nutri drench. Every two days it seemed to be getting worse. It's head now is stable but off to the right side still but for 4 days it doesn't stand or walk. I tried for two days working with its legs moving them and moving it's feet. It goes from eating by itself to being so weak I have to put food into it's beak. I'm thinking maybe a head injury has caused some neurological damage. I have spent every day since last week crying every day thinking it's going to be dead but it proves me wrong and pecks away at the food. It's also peeping all day long quiet little peeps. I just want to know if it's possible for it to have improvement or if I'm just prolonging the inevitable. TIA I named the little chick Daisy but I'm not even sure if it's a hen or rooster. I'll include some videos and hopefully someone can give me some advice besides culling it.

Welcome To BYC

Can you please post photos of Daisy and her poop?

For Video, upload to YouTube and provide a link.

How long has she had symptoms and how many days have you given treatment?
How much the gel have you been giving?

Did you see any signs of injury to the head or neck?

I'd go to Walmart, CVS, etc and get a bottle of Vitamin E and B-Complex. Give her one 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily along with a little egg for the uptake of E.

See that she's eating her chick starter and staying hydrated.

Stop the Goat Gel and Nutri-Drench, if you want to know why, Read This Post.
