Hi,
I’m writing again because I followed all the instructions I could get regarding wry neck, and my little one is not getting better.
We had a staggered hatch as you can see by the pictures.
One is 7 days older than 2 and 4 days older then 4.
Mom bonded with her first baby and saw the others as intruders and was very mean to them, so we had to take them all away from her sadly. She actually thought one that hatched in the middle of the night out of her nesting box and we found it dead in the morning!
It was heartbreaking!
We are giving her Poultry Cell, vitamin E, B and Selenium, scrambled eggs, electrolytes and even made a brace because some people on YouTube swore it healed their duckling or chic.
Unfortunately, she refused to eat or drink with it on even though she was perfectly capable.
It’s so odd because she was perfect for her first 4 days.
She was not injured so it must be a vitamin deficiency, right?
We take excellent care of our babies and have a camera right on their brooder box so we can watch them 24/7
What else can I do?
I feel like this is a repeat of last year when we had a duckling hatch terribly twisted. We tried EVERYTHING until finally taking him to the vet and he has scoliosis.
He’s actually doing well, but it’s so sad and hard to watch, but he hatched like that and this little one did not.
Is there anything that I should be doing that I missed?
She seems depressed and I’m so sad for her.

Thank you for any more advice!
