Hello,
I have an Australorp chicken who seems to be battling wry neck for the second time. She had it when she was 3 weeks. I gave her the vitamins and selenium for 2 weeks and she bounced back to normal. I put her back in with the other chickens and have had no issues, until now.
She is now 11 weeks old doing the same thing. She tucks her head under her body and starts shaking like, walks backwards, and flips over if I let her. She keeps her head pointed down when she isn't tucking it under herself. I can get her to eat and drink by helping her and she will do some on her own.
I started her back on her vitamins yesterday hoping to help her. I have researched wry neck, but was wondering if anyone else has had a bird with it multiple times? Could it be something else causing it? She is the only one who seems to have it thus far, she is in her own area away from the other birds. Maybe there is something else I could try? Thanks for the help in advance!
