Ok so i have a chick that hatche dhtis morning and it has wry neck. I gave it some vt E and i went to the store and got B-Complex. How much do i give him? This is my first hatch and it makes me sad, and i want it to live.
Thanks for the help,

remember to put drops on the beak, they will suck it in, also, you need to make sure it is eating, sometimes they have a problem eating, might need to make a mash for him even like a broth, to get the nutrients into him.

he is eating and drinking. And i gave him just a lil bit of VT E and he seems a lot beter. We have been mesaging his neck to. How much of that stuff do we give him?

how is he doing this morning? the vitasol a couple drops on his beak morning and nite, the vit E one capsule a day, on his beak- can you post pics of him?

Well yesterday all i gave him was a drop or 2 of Vt E and his neck is fine! We have been rubing it too. If you still want a pic of him i can get one later. Thank you

I had a chick with Wry Neck two weeks ago. After two days of vitamin E (one 400 mg capsule twice/day)and baby liquid vitamins (2 drops twice/day) she was better but still not eating much. Since she did well with dropper administered food, I gave her raw egg in a dropper and she vacuumed it up. I started out trying to feed her by putting the liquid on the side of her beak but found she took it better if I dribbled it down my fingers where she licked it up. The only drawback was it got on her chest and matted her down so we had to give her a gentle bath after she was out of the woods. The other drawback is that my hands smelled like liquid baby vitamins 24/7 which is nauseating, but at least the chick recovered (and these are my first chickens also). She went back with the rest of the chickens but is much smaller than everyone else and is considerably behind on feather development. My daughter named her Rocky after the movie and it turned out to suit her perfectly as she is a scrappy chicken.
