I noticed my Biefelder cockeral suddenly got a crooked tail. It seemed to happen over night, but has stayed for the past few days. One of my adult hens has slight wry tail, but I really don't want HIM to have it since he's gonna be my new breeder rooster when he's older. Its not crooked all the time, mostly when he bends over to eat or something. Any way to fix it?

I just checked when I shut everyone in, and his tail was perfectly straight when he was sitting on the roost. Its just when hes up walking around it tilts sometimes for some reason.

Almost all my chickens do that as well. There is nothing wrong with them. If he can straighten it I would not think it is wry tail.
Good to know. I just thought it was a bit odd it would tilt pretty severely at times, and none of the others his age do that.

its same with some of my chickens, when the bend over. Ours seems fine, so. I'm guessing, it might be nothing?
