At what age does wry tail show up? My rooster at 4+ months all of a sudden held his tail at a 90 degree angle from his body. a month later it now goes straight sometimes but still likes to lean that way.

Take your fingers and follow his spine down from his neck, in wry tail the spine turns to the side fairly sharply at the tail, also, one hip will be higher than the other. Many birds turn their tail depending on things like being in a tight location, but wrying the tail should not be a regular or routine position.
