Where are you situated? I have a number of silkie cross hens who LOVE to go broody. They are silkie x d'uccles. They have not hatched anything yet, but not for lack of trying!

I just can't do all the chicks that these girls want to hatch. I have no doubts about their abilities to hatch and raise a batch of babies for you... I will only do pickup though if you are interested - too traumatic to ship an adult bird for me and the bird. THese girls are about a year old (actually I think a bit less - can't remember the hatch date) If you are interested send me a pm and I could show you some pictures.
