I'm looking for black or blue cayuga duck eggs...I'd either pay for them (paypal) or I'd be willing to trade you muscovy or sumatra eggs--they are the only things laying right now. I'm looking for 6-8 or even a dozen. I'd trade 6-8 eggs of mine and pay the difference in shipping on a dozen duck eggs, if possible....

Hi,

I was comming online to post my black cayuga eggs when I saw your post. I have 11 and that is all I can comfortablly fit in a box. I will mail with a large Icepack. I can take paypal and can ship on Friday, from Texas. I pack well with over 200 feedbacks on ebay. $28.00 includes all. you can paypal at [email protected], if this is something you are intersted in.

Thanks,
Theresa

I can get a photo up, but I have gotten from breeders around here and from here on BYC. I was not trying for show quaility, so I have no reason to think that they are. I do not know the qualifications.
Sorry. no known bloodlines.

Hi Heather,

Keep me in mind for next Spring. I bought 5 ducklings earlier this year that came from show stock. Their Daddy won Best Waterfowl at the Winter Brisk in Chehalis last December.

Of the five, at least two of them are definite knock-outs and I think have a superb chance of beating their Daddy if they are shown together.

I haven't had time to get pics of them on my website yet but hope to before too long.

God Bless,

Cool....will do. Out of that pair of Crevecoeur, I did hatch out 3 chicks (two different batches). So far, I have another pair and one that I'm unable to sex yet...but I'm thinking it's a boy...

I do have two pairs of Cayugas from Holderread's (one I got this spring, the other last summer/fall)--but I have a lady (local) that is looking for ducklings. She offered me $10 a duckling and said she wants as many as she can get! LOL I hatched her out a few and then something came up & she couldn't take them right away. She paid for them but then told me to sell them because she wanted to bond with her ducklings.

So I did...and now my ducks are not laying anymore and she's "ready" for her ducklings. So I offered her my older pair of Holderread's ducks and she said no. I'd like to actually get out of my cayugas & focus on my sebbies & muscovies more...

I'm glad to hear that you got some chicks from those Crevecoeurs. Don't see many folks around here with them. I hope you'll continue with them and bring them to the shows over here!

God Bless,
