I'm going to talk to him on Monday to get a better idea of the cost. If it's under $100, I might be able to do it. If it's likely more than that, my DH will murder me if I do it... It's going to be a fight anyway probably. To him, it's livestock. For me, they are more like pets...Since all roads point to excision, what is your plan of action?
I also want to better understand potential risks. Other than it looking really ugly and abhorrent, she doesn't seem to be having any problems as a result. She's eating, drinking, and pooping just fine. She clearly feels well... Other than potentially not laying...but she's probably close to 3 yrs old anyway. If this is likely only going to improve the way it looks, I probably won't do it. If this could lead to other complications or illness, then I'll consider it if it's in a reasonable budget.
