(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No, I not new to chickens. My family had backyard chickens when I was growing up and I've raised chickens with my sons for a number of years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode island red, Wyandotte and others I don't know. A glorious mixture.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Farm fresh eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Anything farm, garden, home related. I'm a DIYer.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a stay- at- home, homeschooling mother of 6. Hubby installs overhead doors. Oldest son (22) works for a storage shed builder. Second son (21) is in lawn care. Third son (18) works with his dad. Fourth son (16) is still "in school" plus does a great deal of the gardening, orchard and lawn work. Also cares for the chickens. Fifth son (14) is my right hand helper in the house while doing his studies and following his interests in wood working, etc. Baby (7 mo) is a girl! So now you know I'm very busy. Lol
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found it some years ago. Decided to join, in my search for pullets.
I had found a place a some years ago where a young man was raising chicks and selling them. It seemed he had an especially good thing going. But I've lost the info. Can anyone help me?
