Wyandotte 14 Weeks Gender?

This one doesn’t have a name yet, we think it’s a cockerel , but wanted to confirm. It’s the same age as the SLW (14 Weeks), but has more red/pink in the comb, and it’s feathers look pointy to me. It’s got attitude too, not wth us (it just avoids us), but let one of the Dobies come by the chicken run and it runs like speed racer to wherever the dogs are and waits for the dog to put it’s nose to the fence so it can peck it. Smart bird because now the Dobies stay back, too funny.

Your chicken looks like mine! My 5 gals differ from yours in that, yours tail feathers are longer and fall down like a rooster. I'd bet a buck thats a boy. My GLW's are my first chickens, 5 hens. Good luck!

I agree.

You're probably aware that the single comb is a flaw as per the Standard of Perfection, but since you're on a warm climate it's probably good for your lady's health in hot summer weather. :)
