I'm not too sure what she is...... Anybody have a guess..... doesn't really matter, as she is just going to be a layer..... But I'm very curious!!

She's almost 4 weeks old, so not too much to go by.

thanks ;)

So.... Kinda embarrassed to say, but I'm not too sure what you mean by a comb. We've only owned chickens for three days.

The farmer we bought her from wasn't sure, and gave those suggestions. She came in a "mixed order".

Thanks your the suggestions!:D

The comb is that piece of skin above her beak that goes up the head a little. What color are her legs? It would help to take a pic of her standing from the side and one of her face straight on so we can see the comb. It doesn't look like a straight comb so it wouldn't be a rock. It could be a poor quality wyandotte. Are the legs yellow?

ok.... So she is a pea-comb (at least I think so), and she has dark legs. Oh my poor discount chicky....... <3

Loading picture now....

Dark like green or more like gray? She could be an easter egger too. They usually have green legs. I had a black and white ee that looked a lot like your bird.

grey legs. I've looked up the Silver Spangled Hamburg, and she looks exactly like some of those girls. I'm going to say that is what she is.

(and camera died just after picture was taken, go figure!!)

Thanks all for your help
