I’ve looked into sexing chicks by their saddle feathers and I’m curious if this is what they mean by “rooster feathers?” It also has a tiny little flesh colored bump on the back of each leg... spur?

Beautiful chick! How old is it? I think saddle feathers don’t come into play until they are older (8 or 9 weeks?). Also, male and female chicks have spur buds so dont worry about that get. Can I ask what colored Wyandotte is it? I believe they normally have a different combs.

Looks like a blue-laced red Wyandotte... but the comb is interesting! They usually have rose combs, not single. The feathers will not be discernibly rooster or hen for awhile yet though. ;)

Actual spurs are a later stage in maturation, and both females and males have spur nubs from a young age.
