Can anyone tell me typically what color are wyandotte eggs. I have a gold-laced hen and I am trying to see if she is my new layer or not-Thanks.

They should be some shade of beige or brown. The shade can vary greatly from hen to hen but they should fall into the brown category.

My dad's SLW lay eggs that are very pinkish. They also have a lot of small white spots in them. I guess without the spots, they would just look brown

That sounds like what I'm getting. Thanks. She seemed like she was fussin more when I gathered eggs.
