wyandotte genetics

Um...so...I am still wondering about the black smooth comb on my hen above. Its only been 2 weeks I know but her sibs are both 'breed standard' color and combs. The 'goldish' tone to her feathers is cool but I guess the reddish tones are the ones to breed for. They all 3 supposedly came from the same parentage but I question that given how very different she looks from them. Someone else must have visited the henhouse. I was hoping to breed a flock for quality lacing.
Also can someone tell me if there is a buff colored laced? Wyandotte. She just might be one. The photo shows perfectly what color she is and it isnt like the sibs. Its a gold, like a BOrp.

I believe she is a birchen/ wheaten heterozygote. The female parent of the pullet is a rhode island red- they are recessive wheaten and columbian restricted. The Db came from the male parent. She has a burnt orange color which is characteristic of Db birds. She is also showing autosomal barring. I will have to wait and see how well it develops in her. She looks very much similar to the pullets I have produced from an appenzeller and rhode island red (RIR) cross. The appenzeller x RIR pullets also carry sex linked barring.
They are about two - three months old now.

Tim, she sounds interesting. Please will you keep us posted with her progress?
