Wyandotte Rooster

I've got a Wyandotte rooster and he seems like he flies alot better than my black sex-linked hens. I was just wondering if Wyandottes fly better than most heavy chicken breeds.

Are you sure he's a wyandotte? I don't think my guys could fly if they tried......other than hop-flapping up to the roost.

no way can mine get off the ground without hopping. My hens are lucky to get up 24 inches into the nest boxes.

Wys are not known for thier aerial prowess. What are your others?

Yea he a blue laced red Wyandotte. It just seems like he flies alot better than my black sex linked roo.
