This first one we actually saw trying to crow:

The other I think from watching should be a hen, but the two are not buddy-buddy.

Both are huge, I have no experience with this breed - I went to buy blue orps from the seller and thought I was buying 2 big pretty hens who would be close to starting to lay (my blues are about 10 weeks old) So I am looking to identify for sure what they are and will be selling them to a good home. She called them Blue Wyandottes but from what I have looked up they are splash?? Anyone have an opinion on bird # 2 for gender?

They are just beautiful - was told they came from a well known breeder but I don't remember as I was more interested in the blues at the time!

Ok, how the heck do I get pics to show.... Help box wasn't too helpful...

Sounds like you might have Blue Red Laced Wyandotte but couldn't be for sure without picture.

Wow those are some pretty roosters!!!

Splash is what you get when you breed 2 blues together. To get blue, you breed a splash and a black.

So see if you can trade one of those splash beauties for a black pullet, and get some extras! and next year you will have some blue babies. Gorgeous!
