I am thinking of adding a Buff Orpington trio to our flock. (See current makeup in my signature.)
Does anyone have experience with Wyandotte hens being too bossy or Buff Orp roos in a coop with Wyandottes? Would love to hear any stories!
Thanks so much.

My GLW is def the head honcho over my SS and EE. She enjoys jumping a-top the coop then dive bombing the SS to try to intimidate her, kinda funny to watch and usually doesn't work all that well. I've noticed that she doesn't mess with the EE who is much younger and smaller than my GLW and SS. I have noticed that my SS, second in command, has established dominance over my EE who was added later and at the bottom of the pecking order.i think it will really just depend on the individual personalities of your hens

Duh, I just saw your signature. Sorry!

Our Columbian wyandotte lays surprisingly small eggs (though they look no smaller in the pan). She is really noisy. I like her anyways, but take that into consideration. She is a beautiful bird
