wyandottes for a laying flock

how are wyandottes for a laying flock? im trying to pick my birds.

I say YES! Our SLW lays about 5 eggs/week. Nice big ones. Plus she's so pretty and sweet!

I love the wyandotte chickens and I have several different color patterns.I have white, Silver Laced and Blue Laced Red but my 3 white wyandottes lay the biggest eggs of the 3 breeds.They are not a sex link nor are they as good of a layer as Barred Rocks and RIR's but they are a decent layer and they add variety to the flock.If it's lot's of big eggs to sell then you need more of the other breeds.I sell my eggs and I enjoy having some wyandottes mixed in with the others.
