I have an obsession with BLRWs. I want 'em bad. I'd like to learn about breeding and have a sustainable flock. I know they are great egg layers, but what about for meat birds? I'm not interested in CXs. I don't have space for both BLRWs and Freedoms

They will make a fine meat bird, like any DP breed they will dress out in the range of 4-6 pounds at about 18-24 weeks.

If they're up there in the show quality rank, then yes. Otherwise, they'll give the same amount of meat as any other production breed. But, show quality Wyandottes specifically ask for a more round and compact body, allowing for a nice amount of meat.
