i have been given a goldlace bantam wyndotte, she is only 3 months old, and she is tiny compared to my orpington and Cochin. when she is fully grown will she be safe with them and will she eventually be big enough to free range, or will she be small enough for a cat to kill.

As far as free ranging I am not sure. I do have 3 bantams in with 17 full size hens and 1 roo. They seem to do just fine. 2 of the bantams even get the top roost.

Introduce her slowly and keep her separate (in another cage but visible). When you feel everyone would be safe, put her in the coop at night so they all wake up together.

There will probably be squabbles but it will work itself out with patience and time on your part.
