Yay, a chicken website!!!!!

I have 14 backyard chickens, we are building them a coop and I is almost finished. Does anyone know of any color that chickens like or that relaxes them? The current coop is mint green and wood grain colors. I'm thinking pastel yellow?

Off hand I'd say the thing that most relaxes chickens is a good, old fashioned dust bath - so a muddy color might be good . Just kidding

I don't know if chickens notice colors much at all except red (blood) really triggers a pecking frenzy
