yay! i finally have my chicken water heater!

Woot! you know... it gets kind of annoying going out there and having to melt it with hot water, so i was so exited that i finally have a water heater!

I got one that you plug in to an extension cord and it only turns on when the temp gets to freezing. I love it.

I don't know how anyone who lives where it gets cold can go with these!!!I took care of a friends chickies this week,frozen water every day!!My chickies were drinking !!

Isn't it nice!! I got my heated dog bowl and it's like....how did I ever live without it?!

And I got it on sale for 15 dollars, but it was really only regularly 19.99, so even for 20 dollars it's money well spent!

Congrats! I kept putting it off however I now have two heated dog bowls and a bulb type fountain heater in the coop. One of heated dog bowls is for the cats and they appreciate it as much as the chickens do. It almost seems to me that their amount of consumption went up as soon as I put these out. Everbody wins with heated water.
