Year old duck died

That is odd, I even have more birds then you too. Perhaps your feed brand doesn't have as much calcium in it, or you have new layers so are producing more eggs therefore eating more oyster shells.
IDK, I get it at TSC, it's the only one they carry but I don't have the bag anymore. I always dump it into a 5-gallon bucket and trash the bag.

I have my 2 new layers in a separate run and pen from the old girls and those 2 eat quite a bit for just being 2. I'll guess they eat about 1/3 cup a week.

The 6 older girls really gobble it up. I've got two containers in with them that are about 2 cups each and at least once a week I've got to refill them. I've been crushing up calcium citrate pills and putting them on top of the oyster shells too for them because these 6 have been laying some super thin-shelled eggs. That has helped a lot with the thickness of the shells. They have never taken a laying break really for over a year.

Oh, well, I've been getting around four eggs a day from 35 birds or so. Production is not the highest its been that's for sure.
my girl's egg production is so sporadic. The other day I only got 2 eggs but yesterday I got 6. I hardly ever get 8. Hard to tell who's not laying of the 6 older ones. The 2 young ones are laying pretty consistently every day.
