Year old duck help

I just got a grown duck. My friend gave one to me because he was causing trouble with her other ducks. I made him a cage and some diapes because he will be in indoor duck. He's very scared, which I understand, but he doesn't want to eat anything I give him and it's been around 8 hours. He's been drinking just water but then I noticed his poop is extremely watery to the point where it looked like just water so I haven't given him any more since it could cause him diarrhea. I have given him some banana and rolled oats and hard boiled egg and he doesn't want anything. I don't have bird food right now, so I tried some 'treats' type food but he doesn't want anything. Any advice?
I know he can't imprint on me since he is at least a couple of months old but will he bond with me? And follow me around? Lol so far he's just hiding away from me.

He is stressed out....It will need Duck food....Ducks are social and love company...You removed him from his only home and friends...Watery poop is caused from stress and drinking water..He needs water to dunk his head and keep his nares clear and his eyes clean...Your friend should of sent some of his feed home with the Duck....Being the Duck is scared of people it will take awhile before it trusts you....I would take him back to his home and have your friend set up a separate pen for him ......
