I've got six chickens, generally happy, but they haven't molted since that first time as chicks. They just turned 1 year old at the end of last month, and their feathers have not been shed. Is this normal? Thanks.

Chickens can molt at any time of year or any age. However, normal is in their second autumn and each autumn thereafter. Since your birds are now a year old, I would expect them to molt around August to October if you are in the Northern hemisphere.
Start saving eggs now because there will be a dearth of eggs after they start molting.

Thank you so much!
