Yellow chick poop

My chick just pooped a yellow liquidy poop and was just wondering if anyone could tell me if I should separate her from the others and if it’s deadly or not

This is the first time it happened but other than this she seemed perfectly healthy and has been only eating chick starter feed and drinking water

The picture is after I cleaned it up but it was kind of clear but very yellow image.jpg

I'm sorry no one replied to this.

How is your chick doing?
Poop can be a variety of colors depending on what they eat and how much water a chicken drinks.

Behavior also gives us a clue along with the poop. If she is active, eating/drinking and doesn't seem to be in distress, then she's fine. Of course, it doesn't hurt to keep monitoring those poops:)

She is doing good. She’s eating and drinking and is active. No more yellow poops, but just today, there was a little bit of blood in her poop. (I can post a picture of it if it helps) Other than that she seems fine.

Yes, a photo of that blood in the poop would be good.

If it is really blood, then you will want to treat for Coccidiosis. You can find Corid at most feed stores.

Looks like blood to me. Have you seen any more poops like that?

If she were mine, I would begin treatment with Corid. It's mild and won't hurt the chicks, so I would give it to all of them.

Dosage is 1 1/2 teaspoons Corid powder or 2 teaspoons of 9.6% Corid liquid per gallon of water. Give for 5-7 days - make sure this is the ONLY water available during that time period. Mix a fresh batch at least once a day.

Ok. Thank you so much. And yes, she had another poop like it. I didn’t see her do it but judging on her previous poops I’m gonna assume it was her. I’ll get some corid right away, thank you for your help
